As a tried and true Spokanite, Jamie Fiorino returned home in the Fall of 2021 to become our Associate Pastor of Connections and Care at Whitworth church. She earned her Bachelors degrees (U of Idaho), Masters of Divinity (Princeton Theological Seminary), and Doctorate in Ministry (Portland Seminary) in the last ten years, so she greatly relishes being able to read for fun again! You will find her in the building (but rarely in her office) or working from her "second office" (a nearby coffeeshop) as she connects with people and dreams up new ways for Whitworth to address the epidemic of loneliness.

Pastor Jamie does not like mosquitoes, blueberries, or eating any kind of seafood; however, she does enjoy long walks with friends and her dog, Dot, adventurous eating, and the polity of the PCUSA. She firmly believes that God understands and loves human nature otherwise Scripture would not have stories of talking animals, gruesome deaths, or fantastical characters.

Pastor Jamie also serves the Presbytery of the Inland Northwest as coach to Learners becoming Commissioned Ruling Elders. As a former CRE, she is in a unique position to help form the next generation of lay pastors.
